Finishing well down on the Bulldog 2000 because we just had to finish to win the ANCRO Production Cup title

Finishing 6th on the 1996 Network Q

Strangest incident on a rally:

Coming over a crest in 6th with Bryan Lyall on the Granite City Rally to be confronted with a woman and a pushchair in the middle of the road with ditches either side. Bryan was remarkable and very composed in bringing us to a stop with minimum fuss.

Biggest accident:

Winter Rally (Now Rallye Sunseeker) 1990 with Jeremy Easson at the end of an Avon Park stage, took the big crest flat in 5th, hit another stationary rally car at over 3 figures

How could you improve your ‘own’ current performance?

By contesting more events if time allowed and becoming more focused

If you had £50,000 to spend on rallying, what would you do?

 

Discuss with David (Mann) on the most efficient way of getting the most return out of the money. Possibly invest some in a marketing strategy to get more sponsorship, and use the rest to hire a suitable car for a suitable championship
