I

| Inbal
aims to become a professional rally co-driver |
|
My name is Inbal
Edry. My aim is to become a professional rally co-driver.
Coming from Israel, I started co-driving in my country four
years ago. Unfortunately rallying became illegal in my country
in 2001, so I started rallying in Cyprus with Israeli drivers.
After two years of co-driving I decided to move to England in
order to further my career as a professional rally co-driver
and to be more involved in the motorsport industry.
In March 2002 I moved from Israel to England for this purpose
only. I was working as a mechanic for my first two years with
Silverstone Rally School to improve my mechanical knowledge
of rally cars. I then started rallying in different championships
in the UK and outside the UK at national and international level
building my way up and constantly developing my skills as a
co-driver.
My other interests in life are helping people with learning
disabilities, improving their life skills and helping children
and families in Africa. For the past eight months I have been
working as a senior support worker for people with learning
disabilities.
I am looking for a winning driver or a winning team that together
we can work our way to the top in the BRC, European Championship
or WRC. The skills and knowledge that I can bring to the team
as co-driver are good knowledge of reading and making pace-notes,
map reading, fuel requirement calculations, service routes and
schedule planning, some mechanical knowledge, excellent co-driving
skills in the car and, most important, ambition and determination
to make it to the top.
I also have some financial backing that I can bring to the team.
Rallying
history to date
2000
Started rallying in Israel with Rami Shcatowch (Mitsubishi Evo
6), Dani Lavi and Nadav Dotan (both with Subaru Impreza).
2001
Competing in national rallies in Cyprus.
2002
Moved to England and started rallying in the Peugeot 205 Challenge
1600 and some national rallies abroad.
2003-04
Competing in the BTRDA Silkolene 1400, Ford Ka Championship,
selective rounds of the Kumho National Championship and, more
recently, WRC Rally Japan 2004.
Including road rallies with Black Bird Motor club between events
to improve my navigation skills.
2005
I am available!
If you would
like to talk to me about rallying in 2005 (and beyond), email
Kim
at rallycodriver and she will put us in touch.

| Rallying
in Israel |
|
Over the last
two months I have been in Israel working for a new Israeli rally
team called RallyPro in order to promote the rallying industry
in Israel.
At the moment
rallying is going through the process of being legalised by
the Israeli government, The first organised rally will take
place in April in the south of Israel. We hope that approximately
70 cars will be competing.
Part of my job
was to instruct a co-driving course and translate all the FIA
regulations from English into Hebrew. I also introduced RallyPro
to manufacturers in England so that rally equipment will be
more widely available in our country.
