NEWS
Jonty spoke with Robert at 2pm GMT
26th July 2000

Robert is currently in Northern Spain where they are asphalt-testing near the town of Vic, 30 miles north of Barcelona.

Robert and Richard have been testing a new approach to pace notes and Robert has dubbed himself the 'Luis Moya of British rallying' - he has now gone into machine-gun mode when he barks out his notes.  Apparently, Burns wants lots and lots of information - so much so, that poor Robert had to take antibiotics for the New Zealand rally for a sore throat!

They struggled at first with the new system but Robert says he has now mastered the technique.

Tactics for Finland?
FLAT OUT!!
(and that's not on his back after he's had a few beers!)
