Our original intention, when setting this web site up, was to promote the ‘lynchpin’ of the rally team,

In fact, our original words were:
"www.rallycodriver.co.uk has been designed as a sanctuary for the forgotten element of a rally team

the co-driver

the person who keeps the driver pointing in the right direction
the person who looks after the other team members
the person who takes care of all the paperwork
the person who organises hotels, food, the chase car, the service vans

and, oh yes, the timekeeping

……..the list is endless."

And so, in the spirit of that great British tradition of making much of those who are generally taken for granted 
(if not, indeed, forgotten), we intend to sing the praises of that much maligned hero,
